ARTSassist
FUNDED BY OUR CONTRIBUTORS The only grant of its kind in Shelby County, this unrestricted grant program supports individual artists across visual art, dance, music, and film mediums. ARTSmemphis grantees Indie Memphis and Music Export Memphis have been tapped to distribute a portion of the ARTSassist fund to their respective disciplines through existing granting mechanisms.

FUNDED BY FIRST HORIZON Art lifts our spirits and expands our horizons. First Horizon Foundation, a longtime supporter of our local arts community, partners with ARTSmemphis each year to grant funds to local arts organizations toward sponsorships, programs, and/or general operations that promote artistic excellence and enrichment.
ArtsZone
FUNDED BY AUTOZONE In partnership with AutoZone, ARTSmemphis administers the annual ArtsZone grant toward local arts organizations’ programs and events across the categories of health & wellness; education & youth development; community development; diversity, equity & inclusion; and general arts & culture.
Arts Build Communities
FUNDED BY TENNESSEE ARTS COMMISSION We are proud to partner with the Tennessee Arts Commission to fund projects that broaden access to arts experiences, address community quality of life issues through the arts, or enhance the sustainability of asset-based cultural enterprises in West Tennessee counties.
Emmett O’Ryan Award
FUNDED BY RENASANT Given annually to an outstanding visual artist by Renasant in partnership with ARTSmemphis, the Emmett O’Ryan Award recognizes artistic excellence and honors an artist with a sustained commitment to developing their practice.
Enhancement Grant
FUNDED BY OUR CONTRIBUTORS Our ARTSmemphis Enhancement Grant program, funded through our endowment and made possible by the Plough Foundation, encourages our Operating Support grantees to pursue significant projects that reflect innovation and calculated risk taking.
FedEx Arts Program
FUNDED BY FEDEX Thanks to FedEx’s commitment to connect people and possibilities, the FedEx Arts Program grants arts-focused organizations with funds to strengthen the Memphis community in alignment with FedEx’s charitable priorities of access and stabilization.
Operating Support Grant
FUNDED BY OUR CONTRIBUTORS ARTSmemphis recognizes that unrestricted support is necessary to shape a dynamic and sustainable arts community. Distributed through our Operating Support Grant, this unrestricted support to local arts organizations is intended to advance ARTSmemphis’ mission of supporting the arts to strengthen our community.
