MEMPHIS, TN (April 11th, 2016) – ArtsMemphis today announced details for their unique fundraising event called Art by Design, presented by IBERIABANK.  The event will bring together a fifteen of Memphis's most sought-after interior designers to create one-of-a-kind "vignettes" at Propcellar on Summer Ave.  Three days of events including parties and tours on April 28th and April 29th, culminating in a public opening on April 30th, which will feature a talk by one of the nation’s top artists.

“Memphis is home to an impressive community of talented interior designers,” said Elizabeth Rouse, president and chief executive officer of ArtsMemphis. “We’re thrilled to have so many of them generously lending their talents to support the arts in our city.”

Art By Design was conceived by ArtsMemphis Board Member Greg Baudoin, and it is being presented in partnership with IBERIABANK.  “Our bank has a strong history of supporting local arts and culture organizations,” said Greg Smithers, president of IBERIABANK’s Memphis Market.  “When ArtsMemphis presented us with this highly original fundraiser idea, we leaped at the opportunity to get involved.”
