Memphis Arts Community Unites For Federal Employees

During the federal government shutdown, ArtsMemphis is pleased to announce the availability of free admission and discounts to all federal employees at several Memphis arts organizations through an initiative created by the National Civil Rights Museum. 

Workers with badge I.D. of all federal government departments will be granted free or discounted admission. 

Individuals should contact the organizations directly via the links and phone numbers below for details about redeeming the offers. This site will continue to be updated, so check back for more opportunities and information.

Dixon Gallery and Gardens

Free admission to all furloughed and recalled federal employees and their families, starting immediately and will continue for one month after the shutdown ends. Federal contractors who are similarly affected by the shutdown will also be admitted free of charge
Theatre Memphis

$15 adult tickets (limit 2) for any Thursday night performance through March 31, 2019. This offer includes To Kill a Mockingbird, Little Women and 1776.
Orpheum Theatre Group

300 free tickets to Rainbow Fish, a family friendly show great for kids in PreK-2nd grade. Furloughed employees may receive up to 6 tickets per government I.D. Offer lasts until Thursday, March 7 at 5pm. Show is Saturday, March 9th at 10am at the Orpheum Theatre with fun pre and post show activities.

Free tickets to federal employees to any show presented by GPAC until the federal shutdown is resolved and 4 weeks after. Up to 4 tickets per family pending availability. This does not apply to special events. A government id must be presented at the time of purchase or pick up.
