      The Boys Next Door Germantown Community Theatre The Boys Next Door Presented by Germantown Community Theatre at Germantown Community Theatre January 20-March 5, 2012 The play concerns four mentally challenged men, living in a communal apartment, who are looked after by their caseworker. These men of varying levels of function form a family of a sort as they work through the often hilarious and touching challenges of their lives.

From the opening flourish of the fiddle to a closing joyous leap into the Mississippi, The Adventures of Tom Sawyer is a winning combination of adventure, humor, and nostalgia.
      04/13/12- 04/29/12	The Spitfire Grill Germantown Community Theatre The Spitfire Grill Presented by Germantown Community Theatre at Germantown Community Theatre April 13-April 29, 2012 A feisty parolee follows her dreams, based on a page from an old travel book, to a small town in Wisconsin, and finds a place for herself working at Hannah's Spitfire Grill. It is for sale, but there are no takers for the only eatery in the depressed town, so newcomer Percy suggests that Hannah raffle it off. Entry fees are one hundred dollars, and the best essay on why you want the grill wins. Soon, mail is arriving by the wheelbarrow full, and things are definitely cookin' at the Spitfire...

The star arrives late and, through a hilarious series of mishaps, is given a double dose of tranquilizers and passes out.
