Raising funds to ensure excellence in the arts and build a vibrant cultural community for everyone.
Our mission statement above says it best - ArtsMemphis is an arts fundraising organization dedicated to supporting and enhancing the region's cultural community. Approximately 95% of funds raised through our Annual Campaign goes directly to the arts community. Founded 45 years ago by a group of Memphians who wanted to ensure that vibrant and diverse local arts offerings would be sustained, ArtsMemphis is now one of the largest United Arts Fund in the entire country.
ArtsMemphis is proud to offer this calendar of events to our community as another way to promote our many cultural assets.

Featured Organizations

	Tell-a-friend Indie Memphis Through its annual Indie Memphis Film Festival and other year-round programming, Indie Memphis connects and inspires through the unique creative landscape that is the home of the Blues and the birthplace of Rock 'n' Roll. The organization showcases local filmmakers and highlights regional filmmaking from all corners of the country, bringing new independent work to Memphis which otherwise wouldn't have an opportunity to screen here. Indie Memphis works to encourage and support the Memphis filmmaking community, while building the audience for independent film in the area.
	Tell-a-friend Memphis Cultural Arts Enrichment Center Our mission: Developing Memphis area youth academically, socially, and emotionally through performing arts education and stage performance. Founded in 1987, for more than 20 years over 3000 children have had their lives positively impacted by the program. The results have been that all of its students have successfully finished high school and gone to college or some other post high school graduate study.
	Tell-a-friend Music for Aardvarks Music for Aardvarks is an interactive music enrichment program for children ages 6 months to 5 years and their parents/caregivers. Classes incorporate singing, dancing, instrument play, and musical storytelling as well as live guitar playing.Great music! Fun for parents too! Classes held in Midtown and East Memphis. Newcomers welcome to drop-in for one free class. Seven-week summer session starts June 7th. Also available for birthday parties.
	Tell-a-friend Power House Memphis The mission of Power House Memphis is to present contemporary art and film and to link Memphis with global artistic communities.
	Tell-a-friend Hattiloo Theatre Our Mission is to develop a Black theatre that is accessible, reflective, and relevant of a multicultural community.
