FreakEngine Improv

FreakEngine Improv has been performing improvisational theater, utilizing extreme audience participation for over 13 years. Shows are and have been the first Friday of every month at Midnight at TheatreWorks on Overton Square, making FreakEngine the longest continually running show in Memphis.

    FreakEngine Improv TheatreWorks FreakEngine Improv Presented by FreakEngine Improv at TheatreWorks May 6, 2011-May 3, 2013 Occationally dubbed "the monthly midnight madness" or "Rocky Horror-esque", FreakEngine has been a Memphis late night institution for over a decade. Performed on the first Friday of every month at midnight, FreakEngine combines the best of improvisational theater with a liberal helping of audience participation to provide sold out audiences with a uniquely hilarious evening of laughter.
