Did you know that, last year alone, The Tennessee Arts Commission awarded over $5.2 million in grants to more than 700 nonprofits across the state? The lion's share of that funding (87 percent) came from the sale of specialty license plates to Tennessee residents. That's why a specialty plate is the perfect gift for any Tennesseean who cares about the arts. Just buy them a "GIFT-A-TAG" voucher for $35 and they can use it to purchase a specialty license plate or to personalize any plate they choose.
Your gift will help us provide critical funds to local arts organizations. In 2015, ArtsMemphis awarded 160 grants to more than 60 arts groups and individual artists, totaling $3 million. We support everything from dance and theatre to museums and public art – not to mention film festivals, outdoor concerts, and arts-based initiatives that empower underserved residents.
