    Join fellow filmmakers in a make-and-take art workshop in the Rotunda before screening current offerings in contemporary cinema. Art materials and drinks included.

    6 pm | Art: Ransom Note Valentines
    Calling all nihilists, bowlers, and slackers: Sip a White Russian while you use newspaper scraps to make a ransom note-inspired postcard, which “The Dude” at the Brooks will deliver in time for Valentine’s Day.

    7 pm | Film: The Big Lebowski

    The Coen Brothers’ cult classic, loosely based on Raymond Chandler’s noir novel The Big Sleep, stars Jeff Bridges as a slacker who is ensnared in a wild goose chase while trying to retrieve the trophy wife of a wheelchair-bound millionaire who shares his same name. With John Goodman and Steve Buscemi as Bridges’ best friends and bowling team, Julianne Moore as avant-garde painter Maude Lebowski, and Tara Reid as the trophy wife.
