Mark your calendars for January 28th at 8:00 pm, so that you can join fellow enthusiasts in sharing the ongoing successes of the Memphis Repertory Orchestra in its second season which has been dedicated to the genius of Pyotr Tchaikovsky. In addition to Tchaikovsky’s Finale from Swan Lake, the orchestra will present two other works, both born of American inspiration, containing vivid imagery: Aaron Copland’s Appalachian Spring and Antonin Dvorak’s Cello Concerto in B minor, featuring soloist David Cho, a former member of the Memphis Symphony Orchestra and current member of the IRIS Orchestra. Celebrate your aspirations for the New Year with a community of music-lovers representing a myriad of backgrounds, and do not forget to keep in touch with the orchestra either through email or following us on social media websites like Facebook and Twitter.
