    Description:
    Actors Steve Coogan (Knowing Me Knowing You with Alan Partridge, Tropic Thunder) and Rob Brydon (Gavin and Stacey)star in this celebrated comedy, edited from the British Academy of Film and Television Arts award-winning TV series that debuted on the BBC in 2010. Under the premise that Coogan is working as a guest restaurant reviewer for The Observer’s monthly food magazine, he and Brydon essentially play themselves as they tour the best restaurants of Lancashire, Yorkshire and the Lake District. An homage to northern England and northern cuisine, literature, and music, The Trip blurs fiction and reality, hitting upon geology, Romantic poetry, masculinity, relationships, love, fame, and comedy itself along the way.
