    Description:
    Arkansas-born and European based musician, performance artist, actor, photographer and filmmaker Tav Falco is best known as the force behind the avant-garde roots-rock band Tav Falco’s Panther Burns, which he founded in 1979. Falco has appeared in, produced, and served as filmmaker on several short films that have been shown in underground arts venues like The Horse Hospital in London. Falco will be at the Brooks to screen a selection of these short films, six of which – Love's Last Warning (1996), Born Too Late(1993), Helene of Memphis (1991), Memphis Beat (1989), Shadetree Mechanic (1986), and 71 Salvage (1971) – were accepted and archived into the permanent collection of the Cinémathèque Française in Paris.     ART OPEN LATE is this Thursday!The Brooks stays open late every Thursday, 52 nights a year!
