Alexander String Quartet in Concert

The Alexander String Quartet will present a concert sponsored by Concerts International Thursday, November 10, at 7:30 p.m. at Harris Concert Hall, 3775 Central Ave., Memphis TN. The program will feature quartets by Haydn, Bartok, and Schubert. The New York Times says, "the intimacy of the music came through with enhanced power and poignancy in the Alexander quartet's vibrant, probing, assured and aptly volatile performances...Seldom have these anguished, playful, ironic, and masterly works seemed so profoundly personal."
This concert is sponsored in part by ArtsMemphis, Gild the Lily, and Vance Robertson, CPA.
