    The Royal Opera weighs in with a revival of this seldom seen turn-of-the-century verisimo opera, a story loosely based on the life of French actress Adrienne Lecouvreur (1692-1730). With Angela Cheorghiu in the title role, Maurizio Muraro as her would-be suitor Prince De Bouillon, and Alessandro Corbelli as Michonnet, the theater manager.
