    Four friends – writer Rodolfo, painter Marcello, musician Schaunard, and philosopher Colline – share a drafty circa-1830s Parisian garret. On Christmas Eve, while his roommates are at the Café Momus, Rodolfo stays behind, meets neighbor Mimi, and falls in love in this rendition of one of Puccini’s most loved works, filmed by Robert Dornhelm and starring Anna Netrebko and Rolando Villazón.
