The mission of SANKFOFA Afrikan Drum and Dance Company is to preserve traditional African drum and dance heritage by educating audiences about African traditions through language, music and dance. The special presentation involves audience participation, explanation of dance rhythms and dynamic music and dance.
GPAC's celebrated music education program marks its 16th season this year with exciting programs designed to introduce young children, ages 8 and under, to a wide variety of musical instruments and styles.
