The word “legend” was used to describe Stanley Clarke by the time he was 25 years old. A member of the seminal jazz/fusion band Return to Forever with pianist Chick Corea, Stanley was the first bassist in history to double on acoustic and electric bass with equal virtuosity. He has won every award imaginable and has headlined sold-out concerts across the globe. Join 2011 Grammy Award winner Stanley Clarke for an evening of ferocious dexterity and consummate musicality.

      The performance started on time, the audience came dressed the impress. Stanley Clark gave an outstanding performance even interacted with the audience on occasions. The drummer was front and center... Expand

      The performance started on time, the audience came dressed the impress. Stanley Clark gave an outstanding performance even interacted with the audience on occasions. The drummer was front and center for most of sets. I would frown upon it in most cases but this drummer is an all American first class drummer that had the audience glued to his his every strike of the drum. My only concern was Stanley played the full 2.5hr. Concert with a stand-up bass! Even though his electric bass was on stage and ready for some electrifying entertainment, it never happen. I give this performance on 11/5/11 at the germantown performing arts center a A++ Collapse
