The Millington Arts Council, in association with the City of Millington, will host the 2nd annual All Things Art Festival April 30th at the Millington Farmers’ Market located on Easley Ave from 10 AM – 5 PM. Showcasing local artisans and various performing groups including great bands, choirs, dancers, theatrical programs, storytelling and cultural arts, this street fest will be a celebration of all things art. The festival will also feature demonstrations from the Ornamental Metal Museum, Dixon Art Gallery’s Arts to Grow Program, Draw Dog from ArtCenter of Memphis, a student art show, great food, fun and hands on experience art activities for people of all ages. MAC will launch the 2nd Annual “Get Your Goat” public art exhibition design competition at the festival. Stop by the information tent for details on the design competition and sponsorship opportunities for the limited supply of 2011 goats. Vendor applications are still being accepting for any artisan interested in renting a booth space to show and sell their work.
