The Metal Museum is pleased to announce its 2011 Master Metalsmith, Fred Fenster.
This exhibition will be comprised of hollow-ware and serving pieces made of pewter and some sterling silver. Half of the objects in the exhibition, mostly functional table pieces, vase forms, salt and pepper sets, pitchers, cups, etc., were all created recently and half of the objects are earlier works.
Fred will give a demonstration and a slide lecture during Repair Days weekend, along with the usual gallery and tech talk. Repair Days Weekend 2011 is Sept. 30-Oct. 2.
