The Art Cooker show has returned to the grounds of the Metal Museum. This year's show, Taste/See, brings together yet again another diverse group of artists, blacksmiths, metal casters and sculptors. The vision of the exhibition is to bring together individuals with wide-ranging perspectives and highly developed skills,"making a goulash or melting pot of creativity."As with previous cooker shows we want to feed the body and provide sustenance for the spirit. The Metal Museum is unquestionably a home for metalwork and creativity with a large family history of makers. This exhibition contributes to this feast for makers and expands the family. As with any family BBQ you see cousins you might not know and Aunts and Uncles you haven't seen in a long time. The Family BBQ is a type of family reunion and serves as a model for this event; bringing together makers that have familial connections of which they might or might not be aware.

Curated by Alison Ouellette-Kirby and Noah Kirby, Taste/See brings together artists from across North America who share a passion for food, friends and form. This is the Museum's 4th Art Cooker show. The show will be held outdoors on the grounds of the Metal Museum.

Participating artists include: James Viste, Eric Peterson, Jeff Wallin, Taylor Wallace, Toby Flores, Zeke Moores, Rod Strickland and Lindsey Stouffer.
