As part of the 13th annual Indie Memphis Film Festival, Indie Memphis will celebrate the 30th anniversary of THE BLUES BROTHERS with a special screening under the stars at the Levitt Shell, presented by Elvis Mitchell and sponsored by the Memphis Music Foundation. Co-presented by the Memphis Flyer and the Levitt Shell, the screening will take place on Friday, October 22 at 9 pm.

Comedy icons John Belushi and Dan Aykroyd star in the outrageously funny musical comedy about Jake and Elwood Blues, two brothers searching for redemption with no money, but a briefcase full of soul. Directed by John Landis in 1980, the action-packed spectacular features a soundtrack from the very soul of Memphis, with the legendary Steve Cropper and Donald Dunn of Booker T and the M.G.'s.

Come early and see Jim Jarmusch's indie film classic, MYSTERY TRAIN, at 7 pm. Presented by Elvis Presley Enterprises, Inc. and co-presented by the Memphis Flyer and the Levitt Shell.
