METAL MUSEUM ANNOUNCES LIVE MUSIC SERIES
The Metal Museum will produce a live music series featuring local talent on the museum grounds. Scheduled on Thursday nights during September, Thursday Night Live will offer the Metal Museum as an exciting, new venue for Memphis music lovers. The program strives to bring new audiences to this city treasure as art and music create a unique Memphis experience.
Each concert was coordinated through an organization that presents live concerts and events around the city- Stax Music Academy, Ardent Records, Latino Memphis and Rebirth of Soul Entertainment. The series features the classical soul of the Soulsville Charter School Philharmonic Orchestra, Star & Micey’s folk pop, a Latin heritage salute from Marcela Pinilla and a Rebirth of Soul Revue with Tim Terry.

Where: Metal Museum, 374 Metal Museum Drive
Admission is $5. Food and beverage will be sold separately and will correspond to the style of music performed each evening. September 2 will be Family Fun Night featuring hands-on activities for children, with subsequent events offering activities for adults and live demonstrations from Metal Museum staff.
Thursday Night Live is presented in partnership with The Memphis Music Foundation, Mahaffey Tent Co., Catering for U and ArtsMemphis, Tennessee Arts Commission and media sponsor WRBO Soul Classics 103.5.
About the Metal Museum
Founded in 1976, the National Ornamental Metal Museum is the only Museum in the Americas dedicated to the preservation and advancement of the art and craft of fine metalwork.
