    Journey to the underworld to hear musical fireworks that are certain to delight instead of singe.  These stunning works, including Igor Stravinsky’s vivid Firebird Suite and Miguel del Aguila’s spicy Conga Line in Hell, are devoted to fire and brimstone exciting audiences with their masterful orchestrations.  Young pianist Orion Weiss makes his MSO debut performing Chopin’s legendary Piano Concerto No. 1. Eckart Preu, guest conductor. Orion Weiss, piano. Program: Offenbach: Overture to Orpheus in the Underworld, Chopin: Piano Concerto No. 1 in E minor, Del Aguila: Conga Line in Hell, Stravinsky: Firebird Suite (1919).
