    Dress Down and Step Up for the Arts! - City-Wide Jeans Day

    We are thrilled that Mayor A C Wharton, Jr. will proclaim Tuesday, June 22 as Arts Day in the City of Memphis. There are two great ways for you to get involved with Arts Day, a city-wide movement to build support and awareness for the arts – one of Memphis’ greatest assets. We hope that you will join ArtsMemphis in the celebration.

    City-Wide Jeans Day - Tuesday, June 22

    ArtsMemphis is asking individuals and businesses (large and small) across the city to participate by Dressing Down and Stetting Up for the Arts. All participating businesses will allow employees who make a $5 donation to wear jeans/casual to work on June 22. Each participant will receive a sticker to show their support of our unique and vibrant cultural community.

    Arts Fair and Artist Market - June 22, 11:30-1:00 - Civic Center Plaza

    ArtsMemphis with the Center City Commission will be hosting a celebration of the arts, including an Arts Fair and Artist Market in Civic Center Plaza, in front of City Hall, during lunchtime on June 22. This event will include live performances from local arts organizations and vendor booths by local artists. Come join the party!
