The Memphis Loves Kids Celebration

Children of all ages and their families are invited to enjoy an afternoon of free kid-friendly music, dance, theatre performances, mascot visits, arts and crafts, community information and activities centered on the theme "What you love about Memphis." Hosted by Action News 5 Anchors Kym Clark and Andrew Douglas with performances by the Arts-A-F!re Youth Theatre Troupe, Brittany Russell, Brad Birkedahl, Misti Rae Warren & Van Duren, The Hot Pink Paper Clips, The New Ballet Ensemble, The Inis Acla Irish Step Dancers, Kid Hip Hop Artist Lil Chris, Rockey the Redbird, The Peabody Duckmaster and surprise guests. Representatives from the Grizzlies Team Up Youth Mentoring Program, Skatelife Memphis, The Kindness Revolution and other area non-profits will be on hand to share information. The Children’s Museum of Memphis will provide arts and crafts activities. Food vendors will be on site, or feel free to bring a picnic lunch. The Memphis Loves Kids Celebration is an official Spirit of Memphis event…fall in love with your city again!
