Driving the Saudis by Jayne Amelia Larson  January 14-17 and 21-24 Jayne Amelia Larson returns to Memphis for an encore performance of her hilarious, but eye-opening one-woman show, Driving the Saudis. She recounts her days as the only female drive for a royal Saudi family during their visit to Beverly Hills. The show explores the life of the Apostle Paul by blending film, light, experimental music and Biblical text. Jonathon says, "Project Paul is about hope. It's about regret. It's about faith. It's about changing your life and most of all, it's about love."       I'm writing to highly recommend a play that is currently running at Theaterworks. It's a solo show by a woman named Jayne Amelia Larson called Driving the Saudis. The show is based on Jayne's true experience of working as a chauffeur for the royal Saudi family while they visited Los Angeles. It's a funny and heartbreaking show about the human desire for status, purpose and sexual identity, and it shows the shocking similarities between the Saudi and American cultures. The show has changed since last time Jayne was in town, so if you've already seen it's it's worth a second look. If you haven's seen it, get there. Collapse
