    Soprano soloist Serena Benedetti joins conductor Michael Gilbert and the Eroica Ensemble in a program which includes Debussy, Prelude to "The Afternoon of a Faun"; Barber, "Knoxville: Summer of 1915"; and Mahler, Symphony No. 4 (orchestration by Yoon Jae Lee). Winner of a Marian Anderson Career Grant, Ms. Benedetti performs with opera companies and symphony orchestras throughout the country. OPERA NEWS has proclaimed her, "the letter and spirit of bel canto."
