    Rod Piazza on the Legendary Rhythm & Blues Cruise Spencer Bohren at the Mississippi Valley Blues Festival in Davenport, Iowa Dick Raichelson / The Real Beale This week on the caravan, we've got a great set from West Coast blues favorites, Rod Piazza and The Mighty Flyers. California born and raised,Rod Piazza is a very unique blues harp player and singer. He's fronted his band, The Mighty Flyers, since 1980 which he formed with his pianist wife Honey Piazza. Their rollicking, boogie sound combines the styles of jump blues, West Coast blues and Chicago blues. We've got them live from the 2009 Legendary Rhythm & Blues Cruise. Spencer Bohren is an American roots musician, singer, songwriter, teacher, and visual artist. He plays guitar, lap steel guitar, banjo, and percussion, and utilizes the roots of American traditional music to write songs in blues, country, gospel and folk styles. We've got a great set of Spencer, live from the Mississippi Valley Blues Festival in Davenport, Iowa. Guest host Dick Raichelson tells us more about the history of Beale Street in his series, The Real Beale.
