We invite you to join us on Sunday, November 8th at 2:30pm for New Ballet Ensemble School?s presentation of Sergei Prokofiev?s classic tale of Peter and the Wolf. Germantown Community Theatre is proud to host this limited engagement of this energetic, enthusiastic dance group, bringing this beloved story to life. In this story, ?each character is represented by a tune written just for their character and a musical instrument from the orchestra. The story tells of Peter and his adventures in the meadow near his home. Other characters in the story are the Bird, the Duck, Grandfather, the Cat, the Wolf and the Hunters. Yes! Each character has a special instrument dedicated to them, but in this production, they also have special moves!? Peter and the Wolf is a chance for families to see the magic of story, music, and dance come together in a kid friendly format. We want to instill a sense of wonder and appreciation of the arts in all ages!
