    ELLIS MARSALIS, father of famed musicians Branford and Wynton, is regarded by many as the premier modern jazz pianist in New Orleans. Being a guest on the "Tonight" show with both Johnny Carson and Jay Leno is one testament to his long and distinguished career. The event is free and open to the public, no ticket required, seating is first come, first served. Event sponsored by the following at Rhodes College: CODA, the Mike Curb Institute, Multicultural Affairs, and the departments of English, Modern Languages and Literatures, and Music.
