    MSO music director candidate Thomas Wilkins conducts a musical program that takes a glimpse at recent composers who looked back to either reference or synthesize the styles of earlier masters. Works by Beethoven, Stravinsky and Haydn are performed at this Paul & Linnea Bert "Fridays on the Town" concert.

    The featured repertoire includes Beethoven's Prometheus Overture; Stravinsky's Ragtime and Suite #1 for Small Orchestra, and Haydn's Symphony No. 100 "Military".
