    Sundays with the Symphony series begin with an homage to the supreme master of counterpoint. Step "Bach" in time in the Old World sanctuary of Idlewild Presbyterian Church, featuring works for organ, chorus and orchestra. Guest conductor is Robert Moody.

     

    Among the featured works will be Bach's Cantata No. 32 "Beloved Jesus, My Desire" and Cantata No. 31 "The Heavens Laugh, the Earth Rejoices". Guest artists include Kristen Lensch and Jimmy Jones, both organists, and the Idlewild Presbyterian Church Choir under the direction of Dr. Ted Gibboney.
