    Since the mid-1990s Hope Clayburn has been contributing funky sax and flute chops along with her soulful vocals to an eclectic mix of artists, including James Brown, The Allman Brothers Band, Maceo Parker, North Mississippi Allstars and a host of other bands. Having traveled the world, Hope returned to Memphis in 2002 to reconnect with her family and to establish some roots in the home of soul and blues. Since then, she's been one of Memphis' brightest musical stars, constantly in demand for recordings and live appearances. One of several bands she regularly performs with, Soul Scrimmage, will be joining her for a high energy mix of contemporary and old school funk, soul, jazz, Afrobeat and reggae.
