Cerovsek/Jumppanen Violin Piano Duo in Concert

This duo will offer a concert on April 21, 2009, at 7:30 p.m. at the Harris Concert Hall, sponsored by Concerts International. This is an exciting pair who released a recording in 2006 of the complete sonatas for violin and piano of Beethoven which received numerous awards. Mr. Cerovsek was nominated for a 2006 Grammy Award for his recording of the Corigliano Violin Sonata. He performs on the "Milanollo" Stradivarius of 1728, an instrument played, among others, by Nicolo Paganini.

I think this is going to be a very exciting musical event for Memphis! These musicians were both child prodigies...outstanding in performance and in recording. Hope to see a big crowd! Collapse
