    Memphis Raqs School of Bellydance Open House Saturday, January 17 Dance Oasis is having an open house, with free classes and performances all day! Please join all the members and students of Memphis Raqs and Desert Rose Dance Company for a fabulous afternoon of bellydance! 10:00-12:00 "Mommy & Me" Workshop - Do you have a little one itching to learn your new moves? Bring your daughter, niece, or friend to learn a fun bellydance choreography together. Open to children ages 5-12, $15/adult, $10/child (May bring multiple children), no experience needed for adult or child! 12:00 Refreshments and Meet & Greet 12:30 Discussion: History of Bellydance, & styles "Cabaret vs Tribal" 1:00 Free Beginner Bellydance Class! Taught by Liz of Memphis Raqs 1:30 Free Beginner Veil Class! Taught by Samra of Desert Rose 2:30 Performances by Memphis Raqs, Desert Rose and students 3:00 Free Beginner Bellydance class! Taught by Samra of Desert Rose 3:30 Free Group Tribal-Style Improvisation Class! Taught by Liz of Memphis Raqs
