The New Ballet professional ensemble brings its exciting blend of classical, contemporary and urban styles to the Buckman's fall season in FreeFall with choreography by former Alvin Ailey dancer, Uri Sands and New Ballet Resident Artist, Kevin Trent Thomas, formerly of Dance Theater of Harlem. New Ballet shares the bill with guests from Collage Dance Collective, Mr. Thomas' New York company. Memphis' own Robin Sanders and New Ballet Hip Hop Artists bring the streets to the stage in a surprising new work, along with some classical and neo-classical favorites.
