This captivating play is based on the true story of Helen Keller, a young girl who loses her sight, hearing and speech, and what happens when she finally meets her remarkable teacher, Annie Sullivan. Together, these two extraordinary people work courageously to overcome unbeatable odds in a true test of the human spirit. Their legacy stands as a testament to the belief that dreams really can come true. DFT is a non-profit community theatre organization dedicated to providing high quality family-oriented theatre arts opportunities to DeSoto and surrounding counties. These opportunities include but are not limited to attending or participating in one of our productions.
