From Rock to Chamber, from Downtown to Germantown, it's a weekend full of MUSIC with a few of our favorite local ARTISTS sprinkled in.

Grand Opening of "The 101" presented by Downtown Memphis Commission

This new downtown venue will be highlighting local artists Carl Moore, Dwayne Butcher, Lawrence Matthews, and Tad Lauritzen Wright plus have live music from The Pocket, an acoustic guitar duo that specializes in groove based music, and complimentary wine + hors d'oeuvers.

Brantley Ellzey: SWEET presented by Crosstown Arts

Crosstown Arts is pleased to present SWEET, an exhibition of 20 new works by Memphis-based artist and architect, Brantley EllzeyThroughout SWEET, Ellzey returns to the origins of his process by focusing on elements of color, form, and composition. In paring down the recent works to their basics, Ellzey also simplified his inspirations and returned to his past.

Moon River Music Festival at Levitt Shell

This year’s lineup includes sets from Drew Holcomb and The Neighbors, Wade Bowen, JOHNNYSWIM, The Oh Hellos, Kris Allen, and more – plus Memphis natives Gedeon Luke and the People and Stax Music Academy! The extensive lineup was curated by Drew Holcomb, who was born and raised in Memphis.

IRIS in Bloom Presented by IRIS Orchestra at Germantown Performing Arts Center

Kaleidoscope presented by The Memphis Chamber Music Society

The Prizm Ensemble brings an exciting array of works by Felix Mendelssohn, Paul Moravec, and Jean Françaix, ending with Schubert's ever popular Trout Quintet. Performers are Adrienne Park, piano, Carina Washington, clarinet, Lecolion Washington, bassoon, Daniel Gilbert and Yennifer Correia, violins, Derek Reeves, viola, Iren Zambor, cello, and Scott Best, double bass.
